If you are allergic to nuts, skip this recipe!
You will need:
Almonds, peanuts, or brazil nuts
Bread crumbs – I use my GF almond bread
Apple juice or apple sauce
1 mixing bowl
1 deep sided baking pan
Optional – nut butter
Step One: Core the apple. (Go ahead and buy a corer. They are the only gadget worth the cost!)
Step Two: Chop your nuts as fine as possible.
Step Three: crumble your bread.
Step four: Mix the crumbs, nuts, and bread together in a small bowl with enough apple juice to soften the bread.
Step Five: Stuff your cored apples with the mix.
Step six: Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 5-10 minutes.
If you used a nut butter then cooking time will be shorter and you will need to watch the apples!
Cool and serve.
